South Texas Motorcycle Expo & Stunt Competition, March 19-21, 2010 – San Antonio, TX
2010 will mark the seventh year Motorcycle Events, Inc. has brought together a mixture of motorcycle dealers, accessory and apparel retailers, and related businesses in combination with a variety of musical entertainment and motorcycle motorsports competition for what has become the largest show of its kind in South or Central Texas. The San Antonio motorcycle community recognizes this annual March event as the official kick-off of the new riding season where local motorcycle enthusiasts can gather with friends to see the new bikes and gear while watching extreme Stunt Competition from the nation’s top riders and enjoying a showcase of local bands. RUBENV, Blues guitarist, to headline Saturday night’s entertainment. Event includes a custom street bike and chopper show with cash prizes.
New this year is the Tattoo Showcase featuring JOHNNY JACKSON from Texas Body Art, a 3-day Swap Meet sponsored by Texas Scooter Times and an expanded stunt competition with SICKEST TRICKS Shoot-out on Friday Night. Nowhere in Texas is there an event quite like the South Texas Motorcycle Expo.

The STX Motorcycle Expo Stunt Competition gives our attendees a chance to see the best in America all in one place.
FRIDAY NIGHT
Friday Night is Sickest Tricks, where 21 riders will each get two 1-minute shots at their best single trick, to be judged by last year’s winner Bill Dixon, Mike Nicely of Mike Nicely Films [a professional Stunt man] and John Zamora of Super Street Bike Magazine, Top Rider gets $900, second place gets $500 and third $250
Bill Dixon will open Friday’s Stunt Competition with a performance of his top tricks.
SATURDAY
Starting at 11AM 36 riders compete for $8000 in total prizes in Freestyle Routines using an elimination format.
4 Groups of 9 riders each do 3 minutes routines and they are scored by 3 judges on Difficulty, Execution, and Crowd appeal [10 points each category] the top 16 in POINTS move to the semis.
These 16 riders are divided into 2 groups of eight and they do 4 minutes routines, top 6 in POINTS from here move to the finals
THE MONEY ROUND
6 riders remain and they all are getting a paycheck!
They get 5 minuets each to woo the crowd, interest the judges and the top rider walks away with $3000 and $500 in gear from Alpinestars and Ogio. Sixth place rider gets $750 and gear. We are the TOP PAYING one-day stunt event in America!
